From late Spring to early Fall, hearing the unique call of the osprey is a daily occurrence as they dive for fish in the lakes and as parents teach flying skills to their offspring in preparation for their epic flights to Southern lands for winter. Eagles, turkey vultures and various ducks and geese are impossible to miss and a walk through the huge wetlands below Invermere is close to bird-watching paradise.
